Youth Sunday School

Middle School and High School Youth Sunday School:   All 6th-8th graders and 9th-12th graders are encouraged to dig deep into your faith this year to "Claim it! Feel it! Live it!"   Our time together will always include important moments to tend and send. We’ll work to build a great group of youth who not only care about each other, but who challenge each other to live their faith all week long. We will also be using a Veracity DVD that is sure to get you thinking! Both classes will meet in the youth room modular!

High School First Sunday Synago: &nbps; All high school youth are invited to get together for some “coffee talk” the first Sunday of each month. Synago is a youth-led program for youth that offers a chance for you to take turns leading great discussions about how your faith makes a difference in your life. We will meet in the NRPC parking lot at 9:15 a.m. to go to a local coffee shop (Starbucks, Dunkin’ Donuts, etc.) for some great coffee and conversation. This group is facilitated by Janet Stark, Director of Christian Education. Transportation is provided. We will be back in time for worship. Our first Sunday will be October 3rd. Please come and bring a friend!

Presbyterian Youth Connection

YOUTH GROUP!   All Middle and High School Youth are welcome to come and bring a friend to youth group every Sunday night from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. We will always begin with supper together and then move into high energy games, discussions, fun outings, and mission projects. Our theme this year is CRASH: Where Heaven and Earth Collide. We will be looking for ways to help create heaven on earth through our relationships with each other and our service to the community. Be looking for information about special trips, retreats, and mission work. YOUth is incomplete without YOU!

Confirmation

Confirmation is a process youth take to confirm promises made during his/her baptism. This is a sacred time when youth learn about their call to be disciples in the world and to respond to that call by affirming their faith. This class is taught by Pastor Ted Churn and Janet Stark, Director of Christian Education. Each confirmand will also be assigned an adult mentor to be a friend and guide. At the end of this process youth are invited, if they choose, into adult membership of North Raleigh Presbyterian Church. Confirmation is open to all 8th graders and older. Our Confirmation class will be held every Sunday afternoon from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. beginning in January and culminating with Confirmation on Pentecost Sunday.
